CreditLicence prepares FCA consumer credit authorisation applications — and that is all we do. If your business offers customers finance or introduces them to a lender, that is a regulated activity requiring FCA authorisation. We turn a complex application into a short questionnaire — then we prepare it, file it with the FCA for you, and handle their questions until the decision. One fixed fee, no consultation to book, no hourly billing.

Built for limited permission

Most businesses offering finance as a secondary service — car dealers, retailers, vets, dentists and similar — need limited permission credit broking. That's exactly what we specialise in.

If finance is your main business and you need full permission, we'll tell you honestly before you pay a penny.

Everything on the left is included in the £995 — no add-ons, no hourly billing. Your pack is prepared from your questionnaire answers and ready for review within three working days.

When you approve, we file it with the FCA the same working day and handle their questions until the decision — all by email, on your schedule, with no calls to book.

Who it's for

Made for businesses that offer finance

If you let customers pay by finance — or introduce them to a lender — you almost certainly need FCA authorisation. We help businesses like these every day.

Simple, fixed pricing

£995 all in — just £495 to start. No call to book a quote.

Most providers make you book a consultation before they'll even give you a price. We don't. One fixed fee for your complete application — prepared, filed with the FCA, and handled through to the decision. Published right here. The only other cost is the FCA's £560 application fee — which we collect with your final payment and pay to the FCA on your behalf, so there's nothing extra to arrange.

*Our £995 is paid in two parts: a £495 refundable deposit to start, and £500 when your pack is ready. The FCA's £560 application fee is collected with your final payment and paid to the FCA on your firm's behalf when we submit — itemised on your invoice. It is the same fee whichever provider you use.

Common questions

Everything you might be wondering

No — that's the point. Once your pack is ready and the balance is paid, we file your application through the FCA's Connect system on your behalf and handle the caseworker's questions until the FCA reaches its decision. The only thing that stays with you is reviewing and signing the declarations. The FCA's £560 fee is collected with your final payment and we pay it to the FCA on your behalf at filing, itemised separately on your invoice — so there's nothing for you to arrange with the FCA at all.
If your business lets customers pay by finance, offers goods on credit, or introduces customers to a lender, you almost certainly need FCA authorisation. There are some exemptions — for example, certain interest-free arrangements over a small number of payments. If you're not sure, get in touch and we'll tell you honestly whether you need it.
Limited permission is for businesses where offering finance is secondary to your main activity — like a car dealer who introduces customers to a lender. Full permission is for businesses whose main activity is credit broking or lending. Our pack is built for limited permission applications. If you need full permission, we'll let you know before you pay.
We prepare your document pack within three working days of receiving your completed questionnaire. After you submit to the FCA, the FCA itself can take up to six months to decide, though limited permission applications are often quicker.
No — and we're upfront about that. Our £995 fee covers your complete document pack. The FCA charges its own separate application fee (currently £560 for limited permission), which we collect with your final payment and pay to the FCA on your behalf at submission. That fee is the same wherever you go.
It's normal for an FCA caseworker to ask follow-up questions, often with a short window to respond. We're on hand to help you with these as part of the service, so you're never left to work out a response on your own.
No one can honestly guarantee FCA approval — the decision rests entirely with the FCA. What we can do is give you a complete, accurate and well-evidenced application that reflects what the FCA expects to see, which is the best way to give your application the strongest possible chance.
